Almost like a “free” mailbox.
If you’re like me and who paid for an annual subscription to Amazon Prime earlier in the year when you were still housed, this is a good way to get any essential items you need without having to walk too far to a store. It’s actually pretty invaluable if you’re physically disabled too.
There are a few downsides to note:
- Your item will probably arrive the following day, so not great if it’s an urgent item.
- You need a smartphone. But my bigger issue is the Amazon app: It tends to be very slow connecting to the locker, at least for me. It also doesn’t seem to notify you of deliveries to the locker.
- Not all items, particularly larger ones, will fit in the lockers (pretty minor, but still worth noting).
